Hillier Road Dental & Implant Centre understands that the cost of dental care can be a barrier for many families, children and veterans. That’s why we support a number of government dental schemes designed to make care more accessible for eligible members of our community.
We currently support patients accessing the Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS), SA Dental and Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) dental benefits. Eligibility, the treatments covered and any out-of-pocket costs vary from scheme to scheme and depend on your individual circumstances.

The CDBS is a Medicare-administered scheme that helps eligible children access basic dental services. Families who receive relevant government payments may have an eligible child accrue a capped benefit amount over a two-calendar-year period. We can check your child’s CDBS eligibility for you and explain what may be covered before their visit.
SA Dental is South Australia’s public dental service, providing subsidised and, in some cases, free dental care to eligible South Australians such as concession card holders, pensioners and eligible children. Eligibility and treatment availability are assessed by SA Dental. If you’re not eligible, or would prefer treatment sooner, our team can talk you through your private treatment options at Hillier Road Dental & Implant Centre.
DVA provides dental benefits to eligible veterans who hold a DVA Gold Card, or in some cases a White Card, under the DVA Dental Fee Schedule. As a general dental practice, we welcome DVA cardholders and can discuss which treatments may be accessible under your card. We recommend confirming your specific entitlements with DVA before your appointment.
