Consults
Sometimes you do not need to commit to treatment—you simply need good information. A dental consultation gives you dedicated time to discuss a concern, understand possible options and decide what you would like to do next.
Your consultation starts with what matters to you. You may be considering a dental implant, cosmetic treatment, clear aligners, a second opinion, or simply want to understand why a tooth has been causing trouble. We listen first, then assess what is relevant to your concern.
Depending on the reason for your visit, your dentist may examine your teeth and gums and recommend photographs, scans or X-rays. We will explain what we find in straightforward language and outline suitable options, including the benefits, limitations, likely stages and alternatives where relevant.
A consultation is an opportunity to ask questions. If treatment is appropriate, we can discuss timing, expected appointments and fees before you decide whether to proceed. More complex cases may require further records or referral before a final plan can be confirmed.
No. A consultation is primarily about assessment and discussion. Treatment only proceeds with your agreement.
Yes. Bringing a list of questions, relevant X-rays or previous treatment information can help make the discussion more useful.
